I am a teacher of Shakta Tantra, living in Austria... My Website is www.perin-wogenburg.net I would like to gather some information about the real estate conditions in Bali related to spiritual retreat centers. For a while now I have been searching a "perfect" place in Thailand to buy a plot of land and to construct a Tantra vaccation retreat center. As my children speak French and German and need French school (which I only have in Bangkok) , I got the idea to include Bali in my vision, because I have a school there for my kids. Does anybbody know about exisiting Yoga (or whatever) centers on Bali, which are in process to be sold, .... I look for a place which can accomodate 20-30 people, Yoga hall, jaccusis, etc,... thanks for your help....

Re: buying/buiding a Retreat Tantra Center on Bali
Sun, February 10, 2008 - 4:09 PMHello Michael, I am dutch, 56 years old and have been in bali on a permanent basis now for 4 years and visiting yearly for 33 years.
Because I speak indonesian reasonably many visitors from europe have been asking me to mediate between the balinese and themselves. I have also started a cafe restaurant accomodation in padangbai called topi inn, see topiinn.nl which has been running now for 19 years. We also run workshops there and are open to possible yoga workshops.
My dutch partner and I live there, however I started a website called eastbalirealestate.com where you can read a concept which only operates in and around sideman to lease land.
In Sideman you will find a yoga centre called nirarta, run by an englishman named peter. Anyway do visit or send me an email if you need some more advise....warm greetings Anton

Re: buying/buiding a Retreat Tantra Center on Bali
Mon, February 11, 2008 - 7:19 AMHI, I lived in Bali for a year, I know literally hundreds of Tantrik practitioners there, some owning many businesses and with many connections. They are all members of my spiritual group Ananda Marga which has really taken off in Bali. Search for Ananda Marga there and you will find many allies, I can give you some emails, particularly a gentleman named Pat Sudarshan (or Pat Sweda) who is one of the wealthiest men in Bali and owns many hotels and retreat centers.
