Hello Michael, I am dutch, 56 years old and have been in bali on a permanent basis now for 4 years and visiting yearly for 33 years.
Because I speak indonesian reasonably many visitors from europe have been asking me to mediate between the balinese and themselves. I have also started a cafe restaurant accomodation in padangbai called topi inn, see topiinn.nl which has been running now for 19 years.We also run workshops there and are open to possible yoga workshops.
My dutch partner and I live there, however I started a website called eastbalirealestate.com where you can read a concept which only operates in and around sideman to lease land.

They are all members of my spiritual group Ananda Marga which has really taken off in Bali. Search for Ananda Marga there and you will find many allies, I can give you some emails, particularly a gentleman named Pat Sudarshan (or Pat Sweda) who is one of the wealthiest men in Bali and owns many hotels and retreat centers.
