My wife's cousin entered Uluwatu while menstruating, and later that night got posessed by Nyai Loro Kidul.

While posessed, she she spoke fluent classical Balinese and knew Balinese Classical Dance movements.
The duration of the posession was 13 minutes.

The family brushed it off, but then it happened again the following evening.
They decided to consult with a hindu priest.
The priest recommended the husband and parents of my wife's cousin to go back to Uluwatu with an offering and an apology.

They did this and so far, no more visits from Nyai Loro Kidul.

i have heard that there is one buddhist monastery on bali and sometimes they let people stay there....would that be a go there and visit and ask in person sort of thing? or a phone call?

Since then, he has studied dance in Bali for 12 years with renowned masters such as I Made Djimat. His efforts in Indonesian traditional art forms recently earned him an award from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Tokyo.
Prumsodun Ok - Studied Cambodian Classical Dance with Sophiline Cheam Shapiro for three years. He is still a baby in the world of dance and is beginning to think that he could never truly move in the form due to his society. But he acknowledges that and is exploring different ways of finding the Truth of the art form. He currently teaches free dance lessons on the UCB campus as a student-instructor (as an extension of the Khmer Arts Academy).
I have only been in Bali for a day and I am quite over it. No offense to those who love Bali. I have been in Africa for the past 8 months and after Zanzibar, Bali does not hold a candle in my opinion. The diving here is way too over priced and nothing special from what I remember the last time I was here. And there are a ton of package two week tourists. Where are all the travelers?

So I was thinking about going to one of the Gili Islands and then over to Komodo Island to see the Komodo dragons and then maybe to Flores Island.
